How Path to Success works (2 min)

Here's why most planning tools fail your teenager: they dump a forty-item checklist on a stressed kid, and by Friday it's dead. Path to Success was built the opposite way. Let me show you around - this takes ninety seconds. This is the Today screen - the heart of the app. One clear step: what to do, why it matters, how long it takes, and a how-to list that spells out every single move. No overwhelm. Just: do this today. Two buttons. I did this - the win gets logged and the streak grows. Not this week - no guilt, the plan quietly adjusts. That's the entire daily habit, and it's why kids actually stick with it. Open the Roadmap and today's little step suddenly makes sense - it's one piece of a road that runs from eighth grade all the way to college, trades, or a first job. Your student always knows why. Meanwhile the record builds itself. Grades and weighted GPA. Activities and volunteer hours, logged as they happen. When applications open senior year, the list every other family scrambles to remember - already written. And when life changes, they just type it. Switch me to job search - the whole plan rebuilds. Simple steps please. What's my G P A? It answers from their own data, and it works offline. Two weeks free, no card to start - if it's not for your family, it simply ends. After that it's from a dollar forty-nine a month, and canceling is two taps. It works on any phone today, right in the browser, with iPhone and Android apps coming soon. Student path to success dot com. The first step takes fifteen minutes - they could do it tonight. Questions? Call or text seven seven five, two six nine, seven one one eight - it's answered around the clock. Email support at student path to success dot com for a reply within a day. Or tap suggest a feature in the app - every idea goes into our daily review.

Getting started

Let me walk you through your first five minutes in Path to Success - from nothing to your first real step. It's faster than making coffee. Minute one: go to student path to success dot com and tap Start free. It runs on any phone, in the browser - nothing to install, no card number, nothing to cancel later if it's not for you. Minute two: pick student or parent, then answer a few quick questions - grade, interests, where they might be headed. And if the honest answer is not sure yet? That's a real path here, with real steps, never a problem to fix. And that's minute three - your first step appears. One clear thing to do today, with exactly how to do it, about fifteen minutes. Do it, tap I did this, and you're officially one step ahead of yesterday. One thing worth knowing: accounts are for teens thirteen and up, and younger students can run device-only, where nothing is collected at all. No ads inside, no data sales, ever. It's printed on our privacy page. Questions? Call or text seven seven five, two six nine, seven one one eight - it's answered around the clock. Email support at student path to success dot com for a reply within a day. Or tap suggest a feature in the app - every idea goes into our daily review.

Your daily step

The whole idea of Path to Success fits in one sentence: fifteen focused minutes a day beats a panicked senior year. Here's exactly how the daily step works. Every day, one step - matched to exactly where your student is. An eighth grader gets eighth-grade steps. A senior in application season gets application steps. Trades and start-your-own-business paths get the same respect as college. Some kids want every move spelled out; some just want the headline. In Settings, choose how much help each step comes with - full how-to lists, or simple one-liners. Their app, their pace. Tap I did this and the win is logged - tomorrow brings the next one automatically. And on a crazy week, Not this week is always allowed. The plan adjusts. Consistency beats perfection, and the app is built to forgive. Do the math: one small step a day is over three hundred steps a year - habits built without a single kitchen-table fight, a record that wrote itself, and a student who can actually answer the question, what's your plan? Questions? Call or text seven seven five, two six nine, seven one one eight - it's answered around the clock. Email support at student path to success dot com for a reply within a day. For parents

If you're a parent, you know the impossible balance: stay involved without becoming the nag. Here's how Path to Success gives you eyes on progress - without a single reminder text. You get your own parent view: create a parent account, or accept the invite your student sends from Settings. You see their progress live - pace, grades, goals. But only they can change their data. That's not a limitation, that's the design that makes teenagers actually use it. On the days you pick - every day, certain weekdays, or just Sundays - one short email: what got done, and what's coming next. A two-minute read - so you walk into dinner informed instead of interrogating. And goals work both ways: you can propose one - bring the GPA to three five, log ten volunteer hours - but it only counts when your student accepts it. A goal nobody agreed to is just a demand. The accept button is what makes it real. And because this is your kid: no ads inside, no tracking, no selling data, no A I training on student data - printed in the policy, not buried in it. When you have a question, the support line answers around the clock, and email gets a reply within a day. Questions? Call or text seven seven five, two six nine, seven one one eight - it's answered around the clock. Email support at student path to success dot com for a reply within a day. Or tap suggest a feature in the app - every idea goes into our daily review.

Plans & billing (and how to cancel)

Let's talk money - because the fastest way to lose a parent's trust is a sneaky subscription. Here's the entire pricing model, out loud, with nothing hidden. Everyone starts the same way: two weeks free, and we don't take a card number. If it's not for your family, it simply ends on its own - there is nothing to remember to cancel. After the trial, the Student plan is seventy-nine cents a week, a dollar forty-nine a month, or fourteen ninety-nine a year - one student, the entire app, nothing held back. Less than a single coffee a month. Got more than one student? Family plans cover up to four, seven, or fifteen kids on one subscription - and add the parent email, on the days you pick, for every one of them. Pick the size that fits in Settings. Canceling takes two taps: Settings, then manage or cancel. You keep everything through the period you paid for, and any charge from the last fourteen days gets a full refund, no questions asked. No phone call, no retention speech, no tricks. Questions? Call or text seven seven five, two six nine, seven one one eight - it's answered around the clock. Email support at student path to success dot com for a reply within a day. Or tap suggest a feature in the app - every idea goes into our daily review.

New guides are added every day. Subscribe on YouTube to see them first.

Cancel my Plus subscription

Two clicks, no phone call: in the app, Settings → Plus → manage or cancel here. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for. The student app itself runs on its own Student plan (or its 14-day trial), so cancelling Plus never deletes anything. Any trouble: email "cancel", done within 48 hours.

Refunds

Any charge from the last 14 days: refunded in full, no questions asked. Email "refund" from the address on the receipt; it lands back on your card in 5–10 business days.

Delete my account and data

With an account: Settings → Account → "Delete my account and all my data" - instant and permanent, no email needed. No account: everything lives on your device, so clearing the browser's site data deletes it completely; we never had a copy. Prefer email? "delete my account" from your sign-up address works too, within 30 days, with confirmation.

I can't sign in / no confirmation email

On the sign-in screen: "I already have one" → "Email me a sign-in code". The code arrives in a minute or two (check spam once); once you're in, you can set a new password under Settings → Account → Change password. No confirmation email after 10 minutes? Email us and the sending logs get checked. Meanwhile the whole app works without an account, so nothing is lost.

Connect a parent

In the student's app: Settings → Invite a parent. The parent accepts an email invite, then signs in anytime to see progress and suggest goals (the student has to accept a goal before it counts, and a parent can never edit the student’s data), and with Plus gets the parent email on the days they pick.

Canvas homework import

In Canvas: Calendar → Calendar Feed, download that file, then in the app: Settings → Canvas homework → import. It's a snapshot: re-import weekly. No Calendar Feed link in Canvas means your district disabled it, which we can't change.

College, grad school, and job-search help

Live now: the plan continues past high school: college years 1–4, master's, PhD, and the first job search, with a fresh concrete step every day. Start at any stage: pick it at sign-up or anytime in Settings → Where are you now?, or just tell the assistant ("switch me to PhD"). Version one is guidance and timing; it never claims to know your program's own dates, so verify those with your school. Deeper per-program deadline packs are on the roadmap. (And no, we never train AI on student data; steps improve from the helped/didn't-fit buttons and what people ask for.)

Schools & teachers

School, district, and classroom plans aren't offered yet. Right now the product is the student app plus the family upgrade. Email us if you're interested for your students and you'll be first to know when they open.
