You don't need the student's account - just an email address for the student or their parent. You set it up, and they take it from there. Nothing to wrap, nothing to ship.
How gifting works
- Tell us who it's for. Email us their first name and the email of the student or their parent - whoever should receive it. You get a reply within a day with the two steps below.
- You check out with their email. Pick a plan on the pricing page and enter the recipient's email at checkout - the plan attaches to that address automatically. The recipient never sees a card screen and never pays; you can cancel any time in two taps.
- They start in minutes. They sign up with that same email, the plan is already on it, the student answers a few questions and gets their first step. A parent can link in to follow along.
Gifting is handled by email: our support assistant replies within a day with the exact steps, and nothing goes to the recipient until you say so. The recipient is never charged.
