Families can always subscribe directly ($6/month) — a school license simply covers everyone, including students whose families never could.
No ads, ever. No selling or sharing student data, ever. Students 13+ only; without an account the app runs entirely on the student's device and we hold nothing. District deployments run under a signed data-privacy agreement before any student signs in, with deletion on request and your state's student-privacy requirements written in.
