One clear next step, from eighth grade to your first job.
Start wherever you are: high school, college, a master's, a PhD, or the job search. Your first 14 days are free; after that it's a small Student plan (from $1.49/month) or a family Plus. An account saves your progress across devices and sends you the step each week.
Look around first — no sign-up
Without an account nothing leaves this device. You can create one later and keep your history.
Parents join from their student's invite
Your student invites you from inside the app (Settings → Invite a parent). You get an email, accept it, and from then on you can sign in here to see their progress; with Plus, the parent email lands in your inbox on the days you pick.
You see their progress. Only they can change their data, that's by design.

For teachers & counselors
A step-by-step plan for any career a student names, or "not sure yet", which gets real steps of its own. Every student's first 14 days are free; after that the Student plan is $1.49 a month.

Set goals for a student
On the student's device, goals can be recorded as coming from you, "Ms. Ortiz wants a 3.7 this semester." The student has to accept a goal before it changes their plan: a target nobody agreed to is a demand, not a goal. Parents work the same way, and a parent can ask you to set one — it lands as yours, with your name on it.
What they get
One next step at a time from an engine that knows the school calendar; a college-application activities list that writes itself from their logged hours; deadline warnings senior year; homework reminders from their own Canvas feed. Privacy: no ads, no selling data, nothing collected without an account.
Bring it to your school
Classroom, school, and district plans aren't offered yet, right now the product is the free student app plus the family upgrade. Interested for your students? Email support@studentpathtosuccess.com and you'll be first to know when they open.
Teacher accounts
A dashboard where you see your whole class and set goals directly is on the roadmap, it needs school-grade privacy plumbing, and we would rather build that right than fast. Want to hear when it's ready? Email us.
First, how old are you?
Path to Success is built for students 13 and up. We ask before collecting anything else.

Under 18? Have a parent check out with their card; it takes a minute. A family Plus plan also unlocks the app for every covered student and adds the parent email on the days you pick (Settings → Plus).

Nothing is deleted: your plan and history stay saved, and subscribing any time picks up exactly where you left off. Cancel in two clicks; 14-day no-questions refunds.

Count them separately: hands-on hours mean time spent inside the field you’re aiming at — shadowing a nurse, helping at a build site, testing your game with real players. Volunteering means unpaid service anywhere. Paid work and study time do not count toward either.

The dark line is a typical pace for this exact week of the year, not a rule. Almost everyone sits under it somewhere, and that's the whole point: it's where your next step comes from. One track at a time is how this gets fixed.

With PlusA two-minute email like this lands in your inbox on the days you pick. This one is built from the demo's numbers.
Suggest a goal
They'll be asked to accept it. Until they do, it doesn't change what the app tells them to do — a target nobody agreed to tends to get ignored.
Goals you've set
Your student sees it on their Grades tab and taps Accept or Not this one. It only changes their plan once they accept.
You have read access to their progress. You can't change their record, only they can.

Plus: the family upgrade
Plus adds the family side: a calm email to a parent on the days they pick, and a parent dashboard.
The Student plan covers one student's app. Plus adds the family side: a calm email to a parent, on the days they pick, where you stand on the road to college (or whichever path you picked), what changed, and the one step that matters this week. It's how a parent stays in the loop without asking every night. A parent can subscribe, or a student can cover it for their family (under 18? loop a parent in; it's their email that gets the digest).
One subscription covers every student in the family — each linked parent gets each student's email on the days they pick.
Plans aren't sold inside this app. Your free trial works without one, and a plan on your account unlocks everything here too.
First 14 days free, no card needed to start. Add a payment method during the trial if you want Plus to continue; if you don't, the trial simply ends on its own and you're never charged. Renews automatically until cancelled. Cancel anytime — manage or cancel here, it takes two clicks and no phone call. Not happy in the first 14 days after a charge? Email us and we refund it, no questions. Full terms · Help.
Canvas homework
In Canvas, open Calendar → Calendar Feed and download the file the link gives you, then import it here. Your assignments stay on this device, no passwords, nothing uploaded. Re-import once a week to stay current.
Your school
Without these, deadline warnings fall back to a nationwide guess, which is wrong for any school that closes its first term in January.
Check your school calendar for the last day of each grading period.
After high school
College isn't the only door. This sets which deadlines the app warns you about, a plumber-bound senior needs union application windows, not the Common App.
How much help with each step
Every step can show a numbered "How to do it" list, exact moves, including what to say. Already know your way around? Switch to just the step.
How far ahead to look
One step is the whole idea, a plan, not a checklist. But if you like seeing what's coming, preview a few. Only the top step is ever actionable.
ACT timing
Switching tracks re-plans roughly three months of nudges.

Honest note: browser notifications only fire reliably when the app is installed to your home screen and was opened recently. If you want a sure thing, use the calendar below — it rings even when the app is closed.
Parents: add this calendar to your phone too. Open the downloaded file and tap Add — it repeats every day.
Email nudges: see the Emails card.

"Email it" opens a blank email with the subject and a short note filled in. Save the PDF first, then attach it by hand — the app never sends your data anywhere on its own.
Parents who want live access, not a snapshot: use "Share with a parent" below.
